Neighbors say the trans live-in partner of Charlie Kirk’s accused assassin has disappeared from their Utah townhouse, leaving behind unopened mail and unanswered questions.

Lance Twiggs, 22, had been living with Tyler Robinson, 22, in St. George until Robinson allegedly shot and killed Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk during a Sept. 10 campus speaking event. Since the assassination, Twiggs has faced criticism online for not reporting Robinson, even after receiving texts in which Robinson confessed to the shooting.

Residents in the neighborhood told The New York Post that the $1,800-a-month townhouse now looks abandoned. “I haven’t seen anyone come out. There are still all these notes on the door, so it looks like nobody has been in there,” said Jesse Riley, who lives a few doors down. “It definitely is a shock it happened here. It’s a quiet neighborhood.”

Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby has said Twiggs is “in a safe space very far away from St. George” and may need to “lay low for a long time.” Twiggs hasn’t been charged. Authorities say he’s a key part of the investigation. Robinson left him a note hidden under his keyboard and later texted him a confession after the shooting.

Family members described Twiggs—who identifies as a transgender woman—as a “black sheep.” Relatives claimed his parents kicked him out in 2018 after clashes with his father, and said he struggled with substance use and video game addiction.

Before living with Robinson, Twiggs stayed with grandparents and later with college roommates until they moved out. That’s when Robinson moved in.

On social media, Twiggs previously expressed support for Joe Biden and even joked about being targeted with ads for mental health conditions like schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.
