InfoWars host and frequent Joe Rogan Experience guest Alex Jones attacked Ontario Premier Doug Ford, criticizing the premier after "declaring marshal law" on the province.

Jones is referring to the Ford government's failed implementation of what was widely called a "police state," where police and by-law officers were given special powers to stop and question any citizen who was not in their home during the duration of the government's stay-at-home order.

Jones called Ford a barrage of names, including "Sylvester [after he] got caught eating Tweety Bird."

Jones also said that Ford "looks like the most guilty, lying, disingenuous sack of garbage... a giant demonic ferret," as well as "an evil hedgehog that just ate your freedoms."

Within days of the announced measures, all but two of Ontario's 45 provincially-mandated police forces came out against police randomly stopping those not at home.

The Ford government would quickly walk back the police powers as they did with banning playgrounds, following harsh public outcry.
