Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca was featured in a video interview by CBC News regarding his stance on mandatory vaccines for healthcare workers and those in education.
Del Duca mentions in the video that one can never be too sure who has taken the vaccine and who has not. It is a concern for Del Duca and his wife as their daughter goes back to school in the fall.
Additionally, Del Duca also claims that he is the only political leader in Ontario that has insisted that all healthcare workers and educators should have both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Despite this, however, when asked by CBC News if there would be a conflict with healthcare workers and educators who refuse to take the vaccine, Del Duca goes on to state that he does not want them to lose their jobs and values the Human Rights Code.
