A 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman has been charged with disorderly conduct and given a desk appearance ticket after allegedly spitting in the face of a New York Police Department sergeant. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at a post-election protest in Manhattan, 1010Wins reports.

The video allegedly shows the woman, Devina Singh, yelling "f—k you, fascist!" towards a male police officer and then spitting in his face. Right after the incident the officer grabs the woman.

The New York Post also reported that the woman had been charged with resisting arrest during a New York protest in September and again with unlawful assembly stemming from a similar protest in Brooklyn during the month of October.

Singh told the Post that the officers were hitting the protestors with their bikes and "started attacking people."

She was one of more than 50 people arrested during Wednesday night clashes with police in the West Village.
