On Wednesday night, Tucker Carlson slammed Senator Lindsey Graham for refusing to appear on Tucker Carlson Tonight, moments before handing off to Sean Hannity, who interviewed the senator that night. Hannity appeared to not hear Carlson's remarks.

"We've asked him many times to come on the show, but he refuses because he's afraid," said Tucker at the tail end of the show.

"And that's a shame, that would be a very interesting fact-based conversation," he added, putting emphasis on "fact-based."

As Carlson passed the 9 o'clock hour off to his fellow news host, Hannity responded with "…whoops, didn't hear you."

Hannity interviewed Graham during his show Wednesday night, during which Graham slammed Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan.

"As to what to do next, it's over. It is over. Joe Biden has made up his mind, he's capitulated to the Taliban," said Graham.

"We've now left thousands of people behind, and we're setting the stage for another 9/11," Graham added.

On leaving behind Afghan people that helped the US military over the 20 years that they were deployed there, Graham said "it is the most dishonorable thing a Commander-in-Chief has done in modern times."
