WNBA player who got in altercation with Enes Kanter Freedom said Charlie Kirk 'lobbied to be shot in public' after assassination

WNBA player Natasha Cloud got former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom kicked out of the Wintrust Arena over his shirt and commentary supporting women's sports, which apparently she found offensive. But Cloud is no stranger to offensive posts. After Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated, Cloud posted, "He lobbied to be shot in public. He literally called for public executions."

She also posted, "My communications degree would tell me you're purposely deflecting because nothing I just stated was a lie. It was based in fact. I'll post every single one of his podcast where he spoke divisive/racist/misogynistic/hateful ideologies. That were politically & religiously driven."

During Sunday night's game, Cloud took a shot and then during a timeout, she could be seen yelling at Kanter Freedom, who was on the sidelines and had cheered Sophie Cunningham when she scored. Freedom later told Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle that Cloud had yelled "Sophie's not gonna sleep wiht you" and bgan cursing at him.

After Sophie Cunningham revelealed during an ESPN interview that she supports protecting women's sports, players and coaches spoke out against her, saying they would welcome trans-identified males in women's sports. To test that theory, Freedom announced his eligibility for the WNBA draft, stating that he is a woman and therefore eligible under WNBA guidelines that do not define "woman."

"I just got kicked out of a @WNBA game for supporting WOMEN! Let that sink in, AMERICA!" Freedom posted after being kicked out of the game.

"It’s always women hating on other women," he said in a follow up.

Freedom's announcement for the draft makes apparent the absurd guidance of many sports leagues and academic athletic programs to allow men who claim to be women to play on women's teams. Women's rights activists have been showing up to WNBA games wearing shirts like Freedom's showing the definition of a woman as an "adult human female" while others have been wearing gear from the XX-XY brand, which stands unequivocally for the protection of women and girls' sports.

Freedom was joined by former NBA player Royce White in declaring his eligibility for the WNBA draft. The WNBA has since determined that the two are not eligible, claiming their intention to go out for the draft was a "publicity stunt." A French women's league has a male player who has said that he would love to come play. But the WNBA has not been welcoming to these male players.

Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham started the controversy by saying simply that she believes women's sports are for women. For this she has been villainized and bullied, but she has not backed down. Supporters have traveled across the country to support her at games.
