150,000 people took to the streets of downtown Toronto on Sunday to march in solidarity with the people of Iran and call for regime change and freedom from the authoritarian Islamic regime. Many carried photos of Iranian protestors who have been killed by the regime during their ongoing crackdown against civilians. Many similar massive events have been occurring in Toronto and around the world in recent weeks.

Protestors proudly waved pre-regime Lion and Sun flags, with Canadian, American, and Israeli flags also being abundant. Many others held photos of Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, who has widespread support from the Iranian people.

Others held messages for President Trump asking for his help in bringing down the Islamic regime, often citing the President's own words that "Help is on its way." Protestors could frequently be heard chanting "Trump act now!" and "Military intervention now!"

Archia said one of his friends was killed for protesting in Iran. "I want to be his voice. This Islamic regime kept hostage the Iranian people for 47 years. 47 years of oppression, 47 years of death, 47 years of bloodshed. It's going to come to an end." He continued: "The Iranian people, we will get back our freedom. Terrorism should leave the Middle East, and all around the world."

One protestor, who wished to remain anonymous out of concern for his family in Iran, proudly displayed a Canadian flag and said, "When we bring down the Islamic regime in Iran, the world will see real peace again."

Another had a simple appeal to the world: "Just help us."

The event concluded with speeches at Queens Park, and the singing of Ey Iran and O Canada. Toronto Police said that 150,000 demonstrators came out, and that there were "zero incidents."
