A second illegal immigrant who was hit multiple times with gunfire during a shooting that targeted an ICE facility in Dallas has died from his injuries, just as his wife is expecting to give birth. The suspected shooter, Joshua Jahn, engraved the phrase "anti-ICE" on the bullets that were used in the shooting last week.

The incident took place in Dallas where the suspect fired multiple rounds into an ICE facility from a nearby rooftop. At the time, one illegal immigrant who was detained was killed in the shooting, and others were injured. One of those injured included Miguel Angel Garcia-Hernandez, 32, who was shot eight times.

He was in critical condition before he later died from his injuries. “My husband Miguel was a good man, a loving father, and the provider for our family,” his wife, Stephany Gauffeny said, per CBS News. "We had just bought our first home together, and he worked hard every single day to make sure our children had what they needed. His death is a senseless tragedy that has left our family shattered. I do not know how to explain to our children that their father is gone."

Gauffeny is expecting their fifth child. The third victim in the shooting, also an illegal immigrant who had been detained, Jose Andres Bordones-Molina, has been released from the hospital. The ICE office in Dallas is expected to open again this week with higher security. Detainee Norlan Guzman Fuentes, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.

A GoFundMe page for the family of Garcia-Hernandez has been launched and is raising money for his funeral expenses as well as help his wife "with bills she is facing and baby expenses she is in need of."

When the shooting took place, FBI Director Kash Patel said of the crime, "These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off. We are only miles from Prarieland Texas where just two months ago an individual ambushed a separate ICE facility targeting their officers. It has to end and the FBI and our partners will lead the these investigative efforts to see to it that those who target our law enforcement are pursued and brought to the fullest extent of justice."
