A Portland woman has been reported to police after viral video showed her firing an airsoft gun from a moving car at live streamers outside an ICE facility. Witnesses say the weapon closely resembled a real handgun.
On Feb. 6, around 10:30 p.m., Isis Symone Irving, 28, allegedly fired nearly 20 BB pellets from a moving vehicle as she drove past a group of pro-Trump live streamers near the ICE building in Portland.
“If I didn’t have glasses on, it could have hit me in my eyeball,” said Thomas Allen, a right-wing videographer known for streaming left-wing protests and riots at the facility. Allen said he was struck three times in the arm and once in the face.
The footage went viral because the weapon used closely resembled a real handgun. In recent years, police have fatally shot multiple individuals in high-profile incidents who were later found to be holding airsoft guns that resembled real firearms.
Irving lives in an apartment near the ICE facility and, until this past weekend, was listed as a realtor agent with Edwardsen Realty in Portland. (The company has been reached for comment.) Witnesses said Irving was not known as a regular protester and that Friday night was the first time they had seen her at the demonstration, now ongoing for months.

The shooting incident capped a night of volatile and escalating confrontations.
Witnesses allege Irving first drove past the group earlier in the evening, stopping her white Lexus sedan to shout insults. “She was yelling, ‘You Nazis, you fascists, f—k ICE,’” Allen said.
Shayne Holt, another live streamer, told TPM, “We didn’t know who she was or what her deal was.”
As tensions escalated, Irving allegedly threw water bottles from her car at the group. The bottles were thrown back, striking her vehicle. Video shows a right-wing activist identified as Tyrone repeatedly kicking Irving’s car, with claims she nearly hit him, though this is not shown on video.
“Somebody kicked her car—it got kind of crazy,” Allen said. “Everybody was yelling at each other.” Allen is accused by his critics of being a provocateur. A former mobile phone manager in downtown Portland, he now does livestreaming full-time. He has an open case for disorderly conduct related to an incident outside the ICE building from October last year. He has pleaded not guilty.
In footage from the encounter with Irving, she exits her vehicle to confront the man who kicked it. Holt began recording her. Irving then turned on Holt, said racialized insults, and allegedly struck him, knocking his phone to the ground. A masked woman in the crowd grabbed the phone before Holt pepper-sprayed Irving and chased after the other woman, recovering the device.
Irving drove off toward her nearby apartment. Roughly 30 to 45 minutes later, she returned.
This time, witnesses say, she opened fire.
“She brandished a BB gun that looked exactly like a real gun, no orange markings,” Holt said.
Over the weekend, Irving released a tearful video on social media.
“I just woke up to MAGA doxing me,” Irving said. “I did not attack anyone. I didn't hurt anybody.” She showed markings on her face that she attributed to the pepper spray. “They kicked a dent in my car. They threw water bottles at me, threw water at me. And now they're all in my comments calling me the n-word, being racist as hell.”
She concluded: “Like, f—k Nazis. F—k all of you!”
Irving’s Instagram and TikTok profiles read: “Black Pride. F— Nazis.” She did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

“It's really scary because I've had my life threatened so much,” Allen said. “These people do want to cause violence.”
The Portland Police confirmed the incident was not reported to them until Monday morning and said it has been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit for follow-up.
“BB guns are lawful in Portland,” the spokesperson clarified, “but they should not be used in a threatening manner.”
