AOC goes on insane Twitter rant about how Republicans are sexually attracted to her

"If Republicans are mad they can't date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend's feet," Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

Following a photo of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) going viral on Twitter of her sipping drinks with her boyfriend in the free state of Florida, she went on a social media tirade stating that those criticizing her, and all Republicans, are expressing their "sexual frustrations."

"If Republicans are mad they can't date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend's feet," Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Friday, adding, "Ya creepy weirdos."

Ocasio Cortez was responding to a tweet from former Trump advisor Steve Cortes, who wrote: "1. If Leftists like AOC actually thought mandates and masking worked, they wouldn't be frolicking in free FL."

"2. Her guy is showing his gross pale male feet in public (not at a pool/beach) with hideous sandals. O for 2…" the tweet reads. The post included a photo of Ocasio-Cortez and her boyfriend sitting outside enjoying drinks, with a circle drawn around the Riley Roberts' shoes, which appear to be Birkenstock sandals.

The photo went viral after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' team retweeted a National Review article showcasing the photo.

"Welcome to Florida, AOC! We hope you're enjoying a taste of freedom here in the Sunshine State thanks to @RonDeSantisFL's leadership," the team's tweet read.

"Hasn't Gov. DeSantis been inexplicably missing for like 2 weeks? If he's around, I would be happy to say hello. His social media team seems to have been posting old photos for weeks. In the meantime, perhaps I could help with local organizing. Folks are quite receptive here," Ocasio-Cortez reponded.

Ocasio-Cortez continued on her Twitter tirade following a tweet from Daily Wire editor Ian Haworth, who said: "I definitely do not want to date you."

"Don't worry, this is a totally normal thought to have and share as an editor of a right-wing website, and totally doesn't prove my point at all," wrote Ocasio-Cortez. "I hear if you say it enough times you'll actually start to believe it."

"The fact that these people are so creepy/weird yet are also the ones responsible for shaping the NEWS HEADLINES we all see in media should be really concerning," she added. "I don't even want to know what knuckle-dragging thoughts these people have all day while covering women in politics."

Ocasio-Cortez was slammed by social media users, both for the original photo, and for her response to criticism on the photo. The New York representative was criticized for being in Florida, as New York sets records for COVID-19 cases.
