A new AP article is stating that Joe Biden is promising to give citizenship to 100,000 illegal immigrants in his first 100 days of office. This claim is however, unsubstantiated on Biden's platform, raising many questions on the campaign's strategy.

There is a suggestion of the possibility that the Biden campaign is pivoting to attract more Hispanic voters, as President Trump has overperformed in the demographic. This is also the case following the final Presidential debate, where Trump pinned Biden with the "who built the cages, Joe?" comment, which relates to detained illegal migrants.

The AP article is seemingly targeting Hispanic people as it is in Spanish. A Google translation reveals the following statement.

Translated statement

This policy or promise cannot be found anywhere on Biden's campaign. This is a current pattern some are noticing, where there are selective promises based on language. There is also selective censorship. The photo below was only "fact checked" by Facebook when it was in Spanish.

President Trump currently has the backing of 35 per cent of Hispanic voters under the age of 45, up from the 22 per cent who backed him four years ago. This is according to the latest analysis of polls by FiveThirtyEight.com.
