A new poll out from the Arab American Institute has found that Trump holds a massive lead over Biden among Arab Americans in Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The poll, released on Thursday, found that 32 percent of Arab Americans in these four states combined would cast their ballot for Trump, while 18 percent said they would vote for Biden, a 14 point lead. The option of "not sure" was selected more than Biden, with 25 percent saying such. 59 percent of Arab Americans voted for Biden in the 2020 election.

Trump leads Biden 44 to 8 percent in Florida among Arab Americans, 28 to 15 percent in Michigan, and 44 to 29 percent in Pennsylvania. In Virginia, Trump and Biden are tied at 22 percent with the response "not sure" receiving 23 percent. Trump also holds a larger portion of his party, with 79 percent of GOP Arab Americans saying they would vote for Trump, while 46 percent of Democrat Arab Americans saying they support Biden. An additional 27 percent of independent Arab Americans said they would support Trump, while 13 percent said they would support Biden and 33 percent were not sure.

The Arab American Institute noted that Biden had weak support from young and foreign-born Arab Americans, with just 8 percent of 18 to 34-year-olds and 10 percent of foreign-born Arab Americans supporting Biden. The top issue for Arab Americans was the "crisis in Gaza," with 60 percent responding as such. Just 5 percent of respondents said they approve of Biden’s handling of the situation.

The poll was conducted between April 9 and May 11 of 900 Arab Americans in Florida (150), Michigan (380), Pennsylvania (150), and Virginia (220) and has a margin of error of 3.3 percent. This comes as over 682,000 voters in the primary have cast "uncommitted" ballots or written in different candidates in protest of Biden's stance on the Israel-Hamas war, with Biden facing at least 35 uncommitted delegates at the DNC.

The far-left flank of Biden's Democrat party disapproves of Biden's support for Israel in their war against Palestinian terror group Hamas and has been staging protests on college campuses and in other public locations to emphasize their displeasure.
