Axios has been caught deleting a tweet which shows Kamala Harris lying about the lack of a vaccination plan under ex President Donald Trump.

"Why did Axios delete this tweet?" asks the above tweet from Twitter user Comfortably Smug, which then shows Harris saying that they had to "start from scratch" with the vaccine plan while Dr. Anthony Fauci clearly said that was not the case.

The Fauci statement is corroborated in this article from the Western Journal. According to that article, Fauci said precisely:

"No, I mean, we certainly are not starting from scratch because there is activity going on in the distribution."

"We’re coming in with fresh ideas, but also some ideas that were not bad ideas with the previous administration. You can’t say it was absolutely not usable at all."

And yet, here, on Yahoo News, in the very title of the article, Harris goes on record as saying that "we're starting from scratch".

The exact words Harris used were:

"We were leaving it to the states or local leaders to try and figure it out, and so in many ways we're starting from scratch on something that's been raging for almost an entire year,"

As of this writing, nobody at Axios has commented on the disappearance of their tweet.
