Biden admin doled out $500,000 in Minnesota housing aid for DEAD PEOPLE

The Biden administration likely paid out nearly $100 million in error to Minnesota for housing assistance benefits, including many people who were already dead, according to a new report from the New York Post.

President Donald Trump's Department of Housing and Urban Development has been investigating the billions of tax dollars doled out by the Biden administration for housing assistance, and the most recent review of the funds saw that there were likely $84.6 million in potentially erroneous payments sent out.

This included around $500,000 to 509 dead tenants, according to the New York Post. “Biden’s HUD failed the people of Minnesota — paying dead people while vulnerable families were left behind,” said about the funding.

“This gross level of mismanagement and failure to safeguard American taxpayer dollars is unacceptable. Under President Trump’s leadership, we are holding bad actors accountable and will continue to root out rampant fraud in Minnesota and across the country,” Turner added.

Across the Land of 10,000 Lakes, the funding went to 61 different housing authorities during Governor Tim Walz’s time in office. The funding carved out in Minnesota is part of $5.8 billion in “questionable” funds that was given out by the Biden administration and included around 30,000 dead tenants.

The review of the payments come as there have been widespread fraud accusations across the state of Minnesota, much of it being tied to the Somali community in the state. The Trump administration also recently announced that the US would also be ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali immigrants in the US.

The heightened questions over funding in Minnesota come after a viral video report from Nick Shirley revealing alleged fraud in Minnesota connected to Somali-run daycare centers in the state. Since the release of the report, Walz has also announced he will not run for reelection, and some have called on him to resign.
