On Saturday, President Joe Biden appeared to freeze up on stage at the end of a high-profile Democratic fundraiser and was led off the stage by former President Barrack Obama.

Biden and his former boss had just completed an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

As the trio stood for the final ovation, Biden appeared stuck in place until Obama took the president by the arm and led him offstage as the event ended.

The incident followed other recent events where Biden appeared to freeze up or be confused. Last week, the 81-year-old Biden left the group of word leaders during a parachuting demonstration at the G7 summit in Puglia, Italy, and was directed back to the group by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak told reporters that the G7 leaders “were meant to line up so [the parachuters] could come and then shake all [the leaders’] hands.” However, Biden went in another direction, in contrast to the reported planning.

Biden also appeared to freeze up while attending a Juneteenth celebration event while at the White House earlier in June.

Saturday night’s fundraiser for Biden featured Hollywood elites, including George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Barbra Streisand, and raised over $30 million for the Biden campaign, according to CBS News. However, the haul, reportedly the most a Democratic candidate has ever raised in a single night, paled in comparison to former President Donald Trump pulling in over $50 million during an April fundraiser in Florida. This is in addition to the hundreds of millions the GOP presumptive nominee for president took in after he was found guilty last month in the falsified business records trial

Clooney reportedly became involved with the event after calling the White House to complain about Biden’s criticism of the International Criminal Court seeking an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which the actor's wife Amal Clooney, a human rights lawyer, worked on.

At the same time as the Saturday event, Donald Trump was in Detroit visiting a church as well as Turning Point Action’s The People’s Convention. During a roundtable discussion at the church with community leaders, a black pastor praised Trump for coming to the city, saying, "President Obama never came to the hood, so to speak, right? President Joe Biden—he went to the big NAACP dinner, but he never came to the hood. So, thank you.”
