A poll published on Wednesday has found that Joe Biden is six points ahead of Donald Trump among registered voters, with female voters and independents driving this lead.
The Quinnipiac poll of registered voters found that Biden is leading Trump by a 50-44 margin in a head-to-head matchup. This six-point lead is up from the last time the poll was conducted in December, where Biden led Trump by just one point, at 47 to 46 percent.
Biden maintained this lead in the new poll over Trump when third-party candidates were added into the mix, with Biden bringing in 39 percent of voters and Trump bringing in 37. Robert F Kennedy Jr, the highest-polling third-party candidate in the survey, brought in 14 percent of the vote. In the December poll, Trump led Biden by one point when the third-party candidates were added.
Biden’s lead over Trump in the head-to-head matchup was boosted by female and independent support, with 58 percent of female voters supporting Biden compared to 36 percent of female voters who supported Trump. 52 percent of independent voters supported Biden, while 40 percent supported Trump.
For independent voters, when third-party candidates are added into the mix, Biden received 35 percent of the group’s support, Trump received 27 percent, and Kennedy received 24 percent.
Just 41 percent of voters approved of Biden’s job performance, with 55 percent disapproving. Quinnipiac noted that this is his highest job approval rating since June 2023.
The poll was conducted between January 25 and 29 of 1,650 registered voters and has a margin of error of 2.4 percent.

If you are voting for Biden, you ARE NOT an independent voter. You are either wealthy and have not experienced the degradation of your income to pay at least 30% more for food and even more for energy or, the government provides for your every need and you believe every word the MSM tells you.
