"It’s time for us all to unite around Kamala Harris," Soros posted.
This comes after President Biden endorsed VP Harris, which was welcomed by both President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Alex Soros issued his endorsement on X and wrote: "It's time for us all to unite around Kamala Harris and beat Donald Trump. She is the best and most qualified candidate we have. Long live the American Dream!"
Soros has taken over his father's Open Society Foundations, a nonprofit that has funded many controversial progressive Democrat candidates and causes, such as district attorneys who are slack on prosecutions and the defunding of police departments. Alex Soros recently married longtime former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
Alex Soros has already donated a substantial amount of cash to the Biden-Harris campaign and had been working behind the scenes to re-elect Biden before he announced his exit. He recently shifted his priorities to "defeat MAGA" and encouraged Democratic voters and strategists to refer to President Trump as a "convicted felon" at every turn.
Many have accused George Soros of being the "puppet master" of the Democrat Party, to which he has donated billions of dollars.
In response to Alex Soros's endorsement, Elon Musk, who has pledged $45 million per month to Trump's campaign, wrote on X: "I'd just like to thank Alexander Soros for not keeping everyone in suspense about who the next puppet would be."
