On Thursday, Twitter owner Elon Musk vowed to stop "violent extremism" on his platform in response to Antifa members continuing to plan their actions on the platform.

"Twitter obviously must be fair to all, so will aim to stop violent extremism being promoted by any group," Musk said.

Musk’s response came in regard to a question from Ian Miles Cheong, who asked, "Would you consider setting up a dedicated task force at Twitter to deal with violent extremists like Antifa?"

The conversation took place on a post from The Post Millennial’s editor-at-large Andy Ngo, who revealed 5 new arrests in an Antifa autonomous zone in south Atlanta.

"Insane," Musk responded to the article post.

The five were charged with domestic terrorism and other felony charges for their role in "cop city," a so-called autonomous zone at the site of the future Atlanta Public Safety Training Center.

According to Ngo, several left-wing groups and Antifa-connected accounts have used Twitter to fundraise bail for the numerous suspects arrested inside the zone over the last year and a half.

One such account, It’s Going Down, posted a claim of responsibility for a terrorist attack on train tracks in Washington state in 2021. The account remains active.

Other accounts though, like Crimethinc, have been cracked down on, with the account being suspended last month.
