UPDATE: The Harris campaign has confirmed that Kamala refuses to participate in the Fox News debate:

Original story follows:

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he's agreed to three debates with Vice President Kamala Harris, Sept. 4 on Fox, Sept. 10 on ABC and Sept. 25 with NBC. When asked if she would commit to those debates, in one of the only questions she's taken from reporters since she became the Dem nominee for president, Harris would not commit to all three debates, only naming the Sept. 10 event as one she intended to attend.

"Will you be participating in all three?" She was asked by a reporter.

"I am looking forward to it," she said in response, before pivoting to exactly what she has committed to: one debate. "I have always been on record. I am looking forward to debating Donald Trump and we have a date of September 10. I hear he has finally committed to it, and I'm looking forward to it."

"What about the other two?" The reporter asked, but she walked away without a response. Harris has been criticized for not taking questions from press, though many say she doesn't have to given that her "message" is getting out. Reports indicate that she has given off-the-record briefings to the reporters traveling with her.

Earlier on Thursday, in a press conference, something Harris has failed to hold in the nearly 20 days since she's emerged as the head of the Dem ticket, Trump said that he had agreed to three debates, each one hosted by a different television network.

"So we have those three dates and those networks, they're very anxiously awaiting that date and those dates," Trump told reporters at Mar-a-Lago. "We have spoken to the heads of the network and it's all been confirmed."

The debate set for Sept. 10 was one that Trump agreed to with Joe Biden, who has since been removed from the ticket and replaced by his second-in-command Harris. Harris has insisted that Trump keep to the debate scheduled against Biden, despite the switcheroo.

Harris has not agreed to the other two debates, though the Trump camp has said that they want more opportunities to contrast themselves to the vice president than less. Harris also has not given a press conference nor has she given any interviews to press. She has, however, delivered her stump speech many times.
