In a Truth Social post made Friday afternoon, 2024 GOP frontrunner declared "I stand with Israel," and showed support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"I stand with Bibi," Trump added, using the nickname for Netanyahu.

This comes as Israel continues to be at war with Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group that launched an attack against the Jewish state on Saturday morning, invading by land, sea, and air and killing over 1,000.

In a separate post from Friday afternoon, Trump expressed support for the Israeli Defense Force, stating that he has "always been impressed" by their "skill and determination."

"As they defend their Nation against ruthless terrorists, I want to wish every soldier the best of luck. May you return home safely to your families, and may God bless you all."

Shortly after Hamas began its attack against Israel on Saturday, Trump condemned the action, stating that Israel has the right to defend itself.

"These Hamas attacks are a disgrace and Israel has every right to defend itself with overwhelming force," Trump posted to Truth Social Saturday morning. "Sadly, American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks, which many reports are saying came from the Biden Administration. We brought so much peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, only to see Biden whittle it away at a far more rapid pace than anyone thought possible. Here we go again."

During a Waterloo, Iowa rally on Saturday, Trump criticized Biden, saying the attacks against Israel occurred "because we are perceived as being weak and ineffective and with ... a really weak leader."

He continued, "But isn't that a shame what's happening all over the world things are not what they were just three years ago, we'll take a look ... They weren't ever as good and now they are really probably maybe the worst we've ever seen in terms of our country."

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
