On Sunday, violence erupted in Kirkland, Washington when pro-Palestinian supporters rallied to celebrate the terrorist attacks and kidnappings in Israel, in which Hamas Islamist militants slaughtered hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, including women and children.

The Kirkland waterfront, a wealthy suburb of Seattle, became the scene of dueling protests when supporters of Israel arrived to counterprotest a pro-Hamas demonstration organized by a collection of radical Socialist/Communist groups in the Seattle area.

Video footage posted to X shows pro-Hamas supporters physically beating Israel supporters with Palestinian flags. It's unclear what led up to the altercation.

Kirkland police officers deployed crowd control munitions and separated the two groups.

Israel supporters arrived at the anti-Semitic demonstration with signs that featured images of Israelis that have been killed and kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, while supporters of Hamas called for the genocide of Israelis, according to a videographer at the scene.

As the world watches Israel be attacked by Palestine's Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah, law enforcement agencies across the country are on high alert.

In addition to Washington state, pro-Hamas demonstrations occurred across the country on Sunday in multiple Democrat-run cities such as Washington DC, San Franciso, and New York.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Saturday after Hamas terrorists invaded the country and ruthlessly executed and kidnapped innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly in unprovoked terrorist attacks.

"Since this morning, the State of Israel has been at war. Our first objective is to clear out the hostile forces that infiltrated our territory and restore the security and quiet to the communities that have been attacked. The second objective, at the same time, is to exact an immense price from the enemy, within the Gaza Strip as well," Netanyahu said.

"The third objective is to reinforce other fronts so that nobody should mistakenly join this war. We are at war. In war, one needs to be level-headed. I call on all citizens of Israel to unite in order to achieve our highest goal – victory in the war," he added.

As the world watches Israel be attacked by Palestine's Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah, law enforcement agencies across the country are on high alert. Among those killed in Israel at the hands of Hamas include Americans, Canadians, and other countries, according to the US State Department.

The United States military began moving naval assets toward the eastern section of the Mediterranean Sea on Sunday in a show of support for Israel, as well as support for the evacuation of US citizens if needed.

In response to the US moving military assets closer to Israel, Hamas threatened the Biden administration and said the United States "must realize the consequences of this step," according to Al Jazeera.
