Earlier in January, he told viewers that his chances of recovery were effectively nonexistent. “So the odds of me recovering are essentially zero,” Adams said during a recent broadcast.
During the Tuesday morning episode of Coffee with Scott Adams, his ex-wife Shelly Miles announced through tears that Adams had died shortly before the show went on air. Adams was best known as the creator of the Dilbert comic strip, which launched in 1989 and became internationally syndicated. The strip was inspired by Adams’ experiences working in the corporate world and became widely associated wi th office culture in the 1990s.
