Donald Trump arrived at UFC 309 on Saturday evening with an entourage of Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., House Speaker Mike Johnson and others at New York's Madison Square Garden. The appearance from the president-elect comes just weeks after he and his campaign held an enormous rally in the New York City location.

As Trump walked into the large arena, he was flanked by CEO of the UFC Dana White and the others in what could be described as a victory lap since his presidential win against Vice President Kamala Harris earlier this month. As they walked into the arena, the crowd erupted in chants of "USA!" repeatedly.

Trump also greeted Joe Rogan, who he spoke to for three hours in a recent podcast appearance leading up to the election. Harris never sat down for an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience despite his offer for her to come on the show.

The UFC announcers said that the crowd has always gone wild for Trump but was even louder since the win on Election Day.

Last time Trump held a rally at MSG, criticism from left-wing media compared it to a “Nazi” rally that took place in 1939. They particularly took aim at a joke that roast comedian Tony Hinchliffe made where he said Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage."

Musk and Trump were seen speaking to each other as the event carried on after the energetic entrance with the president-elect. Some others were also spotted with Trump, such as singer Jelly Roll as well as Kid Rock.
