A report from Fox News sourcing federal officials, the white, Ford truck came across the US-Mexico border into Eagle Pass, Tex. on November 16. Initial reports suggested that the truck was driven across just two days ago.

The license plate of the truck was visible in photos and shows a Texas registration. It is unclear if the the now-deceased suspect in the NOLA pickup truck massacre was the driver.

"This person came through Eagle Pass, Texas, two days ago," Fox News reported.

ABC reported that the truck was was used in the attack was a rented through the app Turo, which is a carsharing app. The owner of that truck said he is cooperating with the FBI and didn't give further information to ABC. His wife said "they are devestated."

"My husband rents cars through the Turo app. I can't tell you anything else. I'm here with my kids, and this is devastating," she said.

Townhall's Phil Holloway said this is what he was hearing, as well, saying that he heard reports "that the k!ller just came into the US two days ago at the Eagle Pass border crossing." He blamed Joe Biden's open border policies for allowing this terror to reign down on revelers this New Year's Day.

At about 3:15 am on New Year's Day, a suspect in a white, Ford pickup truck plowed into revelers on Bourbon and Canal Streets in New Orleans, sending poeple flying in all directions. Ten were reported dead at the scene while at least 35 were injured and sent to area hospitals. Among the injured were police officers who engaged in a fire fight with the suspect after that suspect crashed the truck, got out of the vehicle, and began firing into the crowd.

The suspect was killed in the gunfight though his identity has not been released by authorities. The FBI is conducting the investigation. Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser said he was asked by a reporter if there had been an ISIS flag flying from what appeared to be a flagpole on the back of the vehicle. He relayed this information, but said he could not confirm if it was true.

"I had a national press person as he was getting on a plane heading to New Orleans tell me, ask me if I could confirm if there was an ISIS flag on the back of the truck," Nungesser said. "And that's what he heard, I do not know that for a fact, but that was told by a reporter that was boarding a plane from New York to come to New Orleans to cover this story just about 45 minutes ago. But I don't want to start a rumor, that was just what he heard, and he asked me to confirm that, which I could not do."

This is a developing story.
