Donald Trump has said that he would not have a problem releasing the Jeffrey Epstein client list in an interview with Lex Fridman in an interview on Tuesday.

During his appearance on Fridman's podcast, Trump said he would be "inclined" to release the full client list and would have "no problem" making it public.

Fridman asked Trump about the topic, and he responded, saying "I’m not involved. I never went to his island, fortunately. But a lot of people did."

Fridman then asked Trump in the interview “Why do you think so many smart, powerful people allowed him to get so close?”

Trump responded, saying that when Epstein was around that he was a “good salesman,” adding that he would “throw around” a lot of big assets to influence others. The GOP nominee remarked that it was “interesting” that the list has not been made public, adding, it "probably will be [released], by the way."

He said during the interview, "A lot of big people went to that island. But fortunately I was not one of them." He touched on that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did go to Epstein’s island, but that it was many years ago and that he was different from the situation.

Trump, when asked if he would release the list, said, "I'd be inclined to do the Epstein thing," and added, "I'd have no problem with it," referring to releasing the list.

Epstein supposedly committed suicide when he was found dead in a jail cell after he was arrested for sex-trafficking in 2019. His accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, is serving out a sentence in a Florida prison for grooming and luring teenagers to be sexually abused by Epstein.

Large names like Bill Clinton and Leonardo DiCaprio have appeared on documents related to Epstein.
