The official CBC comedy account has an interesting response to the Trudeau WE scandal. Apparently they think it has something to do with the Conservatives. It doesn't.

The Conservative Party of Canada has called for a criminal investigation into Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the scandal surrounding the WE Charity.

It has been revealed that there were close, familial ties between the Trudeau's and the charity, with both Margaret Trudeau and Alexandre Trudeau receiving large payments for speaking engagements. Sophie Trudeau has also been the beneficiary of payments from the charity.

The charity had a $900 million contract with the Trudeau government. This has led both the ethics commissioner and Bloc Quebecois leader Yves-François Blanchet to call for the prime minister to step down during the course of the investigation. This would place the responsibility of the highest office in the hands of Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland.
