When CBS Mornings went around to different restaurants in Nevada, correspondent Adriana Diaz could only find one supporter of Kamala Harris in a diner that she visited. In contrast, she found many supporters of Donald Trump.

She recently made the remark about the diner while talking to the other hosts on the "3 Meals" segment of the CBS show, where they then showed many Trump supporters instead.

Diaz told the other hosts: “In every single restaurant, of the people willing to talk to us, we could only find one Harris supporter in every restaurant." The broadcast outlet aired footage from a diner in Washoe County, Nevada, where they spoke to several supporters of Donald Trump about immigration.

Diaz asked the Trump supporters, "Which issue is most important to you?" To which Melody Lewis said, "I am extremely concerned about the border."

Another supporter of the GOP nominee, Debra Canestrani, said, "Illegals, they got to go." When Diaz followed up with this, saying that some of the illegal immigrants are "seeking asylum," Canestrani called it "baloney," adding, "they're coming here for the freebies."

"When people talk about immigration, they're thinking we're saying that we don't want immigrants of any kind, and that's not what we are saying. People are saying that there are people who have come here legally — why do they get pushed aside to allow people who have not even worked one day in our country, have not paid to the system," Tomoko Rogers, another Trump supporter, told Diaz.

Under the Biden-Harris administration, soft border policy has led to dramatic increases in illegal immigrants coming into the US, and the topic has been a top issue for many voters in recent polls, with Trump being seen as the better option for the border.
