A man and woman in their 50s were terrorized inside their car while a group of young people on bikes attacked the vehicle while it was stopped at 21st St and 5th Av in Manhattan.

"Know why you don’t see much of this in Texas? Not because Texans are better than New Yorkers. It’s because our criminals know conduct like this can be hazardous to your health. I love NYC. Love it. But could never live under those gun laws," tweeted journalist and host of the show "I'm Right" Jesse Kelly.

The group smashed the car's windshield (one person was jumping up and down on it), repeatedly punched the car's side windows, causing them to crack in places, and even smashed the car with a bicycle at one point.

The incident occurred around 4:30pm on Tuesday, and the motive for the attack is still not known.

It also appears that the same group of young people later attacked a NYC yellow taxi shortly after damaging the BMW. Once again, the motive for these attacks remains unclear.

Said an unidentified NYPD officer:

"This was an animalistic attack in broad daylight. It shows how far the city has deteriorated and the politicians better get their heads out of the sand and start to deal with these problems before there is nothing left."
