"They are way more aligned with you than most of these other beer companies," White said of Bud Light.

Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White has lately been promoting Bud Light, calling on Americans to stockpile their garages and guzzle down "gallons" of the stuff.

This comes on the heels of the UFC's decision to renew its partnership with the beer's parent company Anheuser-Busch just months after the brand drew the ire of many for collaborating with notorious trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

"Let me tell you what," if you consider yourself a patriot, you should be drinking gallons of Bud Light. Gallons of Bud Light!" White told a stunned Tucker Carlson during a recent interview. "You should have Bud Light drums stacked up in your garage and [be] drinking it right out of the keg."

"They are way more aligned with you than most of these other beer companies; that I guarantee you," White added.

Carlson, who at one point remarked that he should be "boycotting Bud Light," chuckled before asking White whether the beer giant had specifically sought to partner with the UFC.

"We had multiple bidders on the table, they were one of them," White clarified. "History has shown me with relationships that I've had with other beer companies, I who lean more [right wing], I who consider myself a patriot ... you are way more aligned with Anheuser-Busch than you are with other beer companies."

As Fox News reports, the UFC revealed in October that it had struck a multi-year deal with Anheuser-Busch that, beginning in 2024, would see Bud Light become a major presence in the organization's content both online and in broadcasts.

"Money is definitely a part of it, but money was not the decision-making [factor]," White claimed during an interview with Sean Hannity, adding, "the people that were all involved in this negotiation, on every side, absolutely, positively know that my choice was not determined by money."

White explained that Bud Light was the first beer company to sponsor the UFC back in the day, and noted that despite the controversy the brand has been embroiled in since then, "going into a long-term deal with another sponsor, I want to be with somebody that I'm actually aligned with."
