A new documentary expose on Elon Musk has been announced to premiere in May.
The documentary, a collaboration by FX and The New York Times, will be titled "Elon Musk's Crash Course" will be the latest in a series by the Times called "The New York Times Presents."
Other subjects have ranged from Janet Jackson to Juul, as well as its two-parter on Britney Spears.
The film will be directed by Emma Schwartz. The "expose" will go into Tesla, and feature reports from Times journalists Cade Metz and Neal Boudette.
"Schwartz produces the film, which is executive produced by Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, Mary Robertson, Jason Stallman, Sam Dolnick, Stephanie Preiss and 'New York Times Presents' showrunner Esther Dere. Liz Day is Supervising Producer, and Rachel Abrams is Senior Producer. 'The New York Times Presents' is produced by The New York Times and Red Arrow Studios company Left/Right," reports Variety.
Some have already expressed suspicion over the timing of the movie's promotion, including political commentator Mike Cernovich, who wrote: The most disliked people in the world, fresh off of losing a war against Joe Rogan, are now declaring war on someone even more well respected. The regime only as one move, and it's hate," he tweeted.

It will premiere on May 20, and will stream on FX and Hulu.
