"You see how much violence there's on the left, with our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week, and people on the left celebrating it openly."
Musk was speaking to Robinson and a crowd of Brits when he said, "You see how much violence there's on the left, with our friend Charlie Kirk getting murdered in cold blood this week, and people on the left celebrating it openly."
"The left is the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute. That's who we're dealing with here. That it who we are dealing with."
There have been a number of left-wing accounts openly celebrating as well as mocking the assassination of Kirk as he was speaking to college students on Wednesday at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the case, has been taken into custody and has been charged with the murder of Krik.
Robinson reportedly has a transgender roommate whom he is romantically involved with, and one of his roommates also worked with the FBI, showing the agency messages on Discord that helped provide evidence in a case against Robinson. It is unclear if it is the same roommate.
In addition to some left-wing influencers online celebrating Kirk's death, an opinion editor at The Nation wrote a piece titled, "Charlie Kirk's legacy deserves no mourning." Others have written similar sentiments for the husband with two young children.
