FAFO: Border Patrol arrests illegal immigrant who protested ICE on horseback in Portland, mocked agents, declared he’d never be caught

Jesus Garcia-Calletano, of Mexico, is now in ICE custody pending removal from the United States, authorities said. Calletano's apprehension occurred just hours after he arrived on horseback outside the ICE office on November 7, where he waved a Mexican flag in a bold act of defiance against the Trump administration's enhanced immigration enforcement operations.

According to a video published by Border Patrol on Wednesday, agents from the BP Special Operations Group tracked Calletano down using air systems and captured him in a park following a vehicle pursuit.

"Hi Jesus! We got your message. Please enjoy a one way trip back to Mexico courtesy of the US government," Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks wrote on X, tagging the agency's Special Operations Group.

A spokesperson for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) told The Post Millennial in a statement that Calletano's arrest occurred in Beaverton, Oregon, on November 7. "He is an illegal alien from Mexico who entered the US without inspection," the spokesperson said, adding that Calletano "is being processed for removal."

On November 5, Calletano posted a video to his TikTok account, username @ozilcalletano, showing him standing in front of a vehicle on a dark, rainy day. In the video, Calletano tells US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that he will never be apprehended and that if they try, he will flee in his vehicle.

"Don't try to stop me because I won't let you," Calletano said in the video, adding, "I want to live quiet without fear."

Two days later, the Mexican national arrived outside the ICE facility to protest after taunting federal agents online, which ultimately resulted in him being handcuffed and slated for deportation.

Calletano's arrest comes as immigration enforcement operations increase in the sanctuary city of Portland, as the Trump administration increases its focus on non-compliant jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration law. The Portland ICE facility has been the site of "unlawful" 24-hour demonstrations since June 7, when Antifa-affiliated individuals formed an occupation, resulting in ongoing clashes between protesters and federal agents.
