Four Montreal residents have been arrested and a submachine gun, ammunition, and a cache of drugs were seized following an investigation by Toronto Police.
On October 2, the 52 Division Major Crime Unit began an investigation, which resulted in the seizure of a MAC-10 submachine gun and a quantity of ammunition and drugs. More drugs and cash were seized after police executed a search warrant at an undisclosed location.
Four Montreal residents: Tommy Giroux-Chevalier, 20, MC Koeurn Joseph, 20, Jahmeel Jean Pierre, 18, and Juliette Duchesne, 18, now face a number of charges. These charges include possession of a Schedule I substance for the purposes of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property or thing obtained by crime not exceeding $5000.
The four suspects are set to appear in court on Monday.
