“They try to, you know, put my business in the street, put pressure on me..."
In a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, famous rapper Ice Cube told show host Joe Rogan that he rejected a $9 million movie deal after he learned he would be forced into taking a Covid-19 jab in order to be hired.
Ice Cube told Rogan that upon walking away from the movie deal, he never spoke about the matter publicly, not telling anyone his vaccination status nor speaking ill of its producers and their demands. He then said that media reports began to come out about his rejection and claimed they were intended to portray him as stupid for deciding to not take the shot, suggesting that he unnecessarily lost $9 million dollars.
He said to Rogan, “So I just thought it was bullshit and it just kind of snowballed, you know?”
“You know, it's like, I didn't lose $9 million,” Ice Cube explained. “Because I've never had it like if you never have some sh*t, you can't lose it. Okay? You lose it when it's in your bank account and you look up and it's gone. You know, I'm saying but if you never had it, I didn't lose it. It just was never given to me.”
“I thought it was chicken sh*t,” Ice Cube told Rogan Thursday. “It's like what happened to the HIPAA laws you know?”
“They try to, you know, put my business in the street, put pressure on me, everybody around me tell me how stupid I am so I can go get vaxxed and say you know: 'Please let me do the movie,” said Ice Cube. “You know that was never gonna happen. I don't care if it was 20 million. That was never gonna happen.”
The rapper also explained that he is glad to have stood his ground on not being made to take a compulsory shot and pondered whether people who were injured after being mandated to take it would one day be compensated.
Rogan agreed, saying to Ice Cube, “And if you got injured from that vaccine you would have paid that 20 million to be healthy again.”
Ice Cube simply replied, “Damn right. Damn right,” before Rogan predicted that businesses which forced these jabs on employees will be facing massive lawsuits due to their actions, especially since companies that produce vaccines are immune to virtually all lawsuits.
The pair then concurred that nobody wants to talk about it, largely because they can’t, because as Ice Cube puts it, “somebody above them told them no.”
The well-known rapper additionally called out the power and influence of the mainstream media, saying they are “really just an extension of these corporate conglomerates” who want to control how people think, move, and speak. He noted that people are being “steamrolled” by these entities, and issued a call-to-action for people to “stand up” and “push back” whenever they can.
He added that if people are not willing to stand up, they will “continue to get steamrolled and not be heard, and canceled and all this kind of stupid stuff.”
