President Donald Trump has said that the media should be focusing on the Clintons and other Epstein associates and added that he would give the media "a list" for them to focus on regarding those who have interacted with the disgraced financier.

Speaking to reporters before taking off, Trump said, “You should focus on Clinton. You should focus on the former President of Harvard [Larry Summers]. You should focus on some of the hedge fund guys. I will give you a list. These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein. I sure as hell didn't."

The comment from Trump—although not directly referring to what some have speculated to be an “Epstein Client List"—comes after the DOJ said in a memo that Epstein’s child sex crimes did not implicate other third parties for prosecution aside from Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's girlfriend when he was alive.

The memo also stated that Epstein killed himself in his jail cell in 2019, an incident which some have questioned. The DOJ has also stated that there was no incriminating "client list" belonging to Epstein, and the federal government did not have evidence that he blackmailed wealthy elites.

During the press gaggle, he also said that he had not thought about giving Ghislaine Maxwell a pardon in the case. Maxwell met with US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on Thursday, and they are set to meet again on Friday for an interview conducted by the DOJ to look further into Epstein's crimes and what Maxwell has to say.

The memo from the DOJ being made public has increased public interest in the Epstein files after Trump pledged to make the files public. Earlier this year, Attorney General Pam Bondi teased what was supposed to be bombshell information on the files. However, when a number of influencers at the White House received binders full of documents on the case, it was discovered they had already been made public.

Trump has asked that Bondi to release all grand jury testimony on the case pending a court order as well as other relevant information in the Epstein files.
