Videos of "wake up" moments in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination have gone viral on social media, with people saying they're going to church for the first time, announcing their departure from the Democrat Party, and other significant life-lessons and realizations. Kirk was killed Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University when an assassin's bullet hit him in the neck. 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been charged with his murder.

One video that has gone viral online comes from TikTok user @robbywood89. He posted a video of himself in a suit that he said was the first one he ever owned. "I don't come from any kind of money, and I've never owned a suit before," the man said, donning his first ever $300 suit.

He went onto say that he is able to make a little more money and that he and his wife are celebrating their anniversary soon. Then, getting emotional, added, "I didn’t know Charlie Kirk, never met that guy before in my life. And something else that I've never done before in my life is believe in God. I’m going to wear this suit to church. I’m going to go to church. I’m going to try to be a better father, husband, and leader for my family.”

"My wife made me feel this way, Charlies made me feel this way," he added, before the video concludes.

Another video that has gone viral shows a man who said he was a lifelong atheist before going to see Charlie Kirk, but that the "joy that it brought to Charlie" helped inspire him to believe in God. He made the comments into what appears to be vigil for Kirk, and said that he wanted to attend church to celebrate Kirk's life to recognize the impact he had to bring him to his faith.

Another video showed a man attending church, but he said that when he usually goes, there is never a line... this Sunday, he said, there was.

At the same time as some have been inspired to come to faith in light of Kirk's assassination, some of those who have been Democrat in the past but are more centrist have decided to leave the Democrat Party after some in that group openly celebrated murder.

One man said that he will "never vote blue again" after seeing left-wing individuals celebrate Kirk's assassination. "When you celebrate and rejoice in the murder and assassination of someone who was just giving a different point of view than what you're used to in the f*cking colleges these days, you are, and will always be, part of the problem if you're rejoicing in that."

Another user on TikTok who called herself "progressive" and one who still holds her positions announced that she is "done" with the Democrat Party.

“I am done. I am not going to vote Democrat anymore … I’m seeing a lot of people who were on the left say that they’re no longer going to be on the left anymore," the user said. She called it "disgusting" that people on the left were celebrating Kirk's murder.

There are many other videos that have been posted with the same sentiment, so much that the hashtag #WalkAway, a movement launched by Brandon Straka, has trended on TikTok as many post that they are leaving or not associating with the Democrat Party.
