Joe Rogan has clarified the reasons that Vice President Harris has not appeared on his podcast show like GOP nominee Donald Trump was able to last week, saying the Harris camp would like him to travel elsewhere from the studio and have only a one-hour timeframe, when his typical podcasts last around two to three hours.

After Google was accused of suppressing the dissemination of Rogan's podcast with Trump, he responded to clarify why the Democratic nominee has not appeared on his show: "For the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour."

"I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen," Rogan added.

The podcast with Trump has been viewed over 37 million times on YouTube alone as of Tuesday morning, not counting other views across different social media platforms and clips of the show. It had been rumored that Harris was in talks with the podcast host, who consistently holds the top streamed podcast in America.

Elon Musk responded to the post from Rogan, saying, "Good clarification. I would definitely watch that podcast." Musk then suggested anything over an hour with Harris would not go well.

Founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk also responded to the announcement from Rogan, "America deserves 3 hrs with Kamala and Joe Rogan unscripted. Hope it happens and she stops trying to dictate the terms. You have a format. It works. She should stop trying to change it. Just like America."

Many suggested that Harris was only putting the conditions on the show in order to make it seem as though Harris was not dodging the interview completely, but wanted to make it appear as though Rogan was shutting down the interview.

Some experienced difficulty finding the YouTube episode in the days following the Trump episode release when searching on the video platform. Instead, many would get a range of coverage from different media outlets’ YouTube channels, the New York Post reported.
