On the most recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan says “I’d rather vote for Trump than Joe Biden” and people are losing their minds on social media as a result.

Joe Rogan, who previously came under fire for supporting Bernie Sanders for president, has now admitted that he would support incumbent Trump over presumed Democratic contender Vice President Joe Biden. His support for Sanders led some to question Sanders as a result.

On Rogan’s podcast, he said: “This is the real issue with th Democratic party. They’ve essentially made us all morons with this Joe Biden thing. They’ve made us all morons.”

“I can’t vote for that guy. I can’t vote for him,” Rogan said. “I’d rather vote for Trump.”

Trump and Bernie Sanders are both populists who capture the hearts of their constituents in an emotional frenzy of support. Many of those who supported Sanders during the early days of the 2016 primary season found themselves similarly unable to vote for that years’ establishment Democratic candidate, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

While establishment bluecheck types were typically all doing their fainting couch routines over Rogan’s recent admission, most common sense people know exactly what he’s talking about. Biden has been having trouble understanding and answering questions in town halls and media appearances while Trump, despite his colloquial way of speaking, has assumed a leadership role throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

There are things beyond ideology that matter to the American people. Rogan has once again revealed to the media establishment that cognitive ability and competence are among those valued things.
