"This Loren Merchan, the judge’s daughter, has raised nearly $100 million for this criminal trial. She's profiting from this thing. And CNN doesn't want its viewers to hear this."
Trump ally Mike Davis revealed on War Room Wednesday that the daughter of the judge overseeing the trial "has raised nearly $100 million for this criminal trial."
Noting that he was replaced as a guest for a CNN segment by Rep. Adam Kinzinger, Davis said, "remember what this Democrat judge did, this Manhattan Democrat Judge Juan Merchan, who donated to President Biden in 2020, who donated to another anti-Trump cause, whose daughter, Loren Merchan, is a leading Democrat consultant and campaign fundraiser who's working for Biden and Kamala Harris, Adam Schiff and many other Democrats.
He added, “This Loren Merchan, the judge’s daughter, has raised nearly $100 million for this criminal trial. She's profiting from this thing. And CNN doesn't want its viewers to hear this."
Davis noted the gag order placed on Trump by Judge Merchan, adding that "gag orders are supposed to protect criminal defendants so they get a fair trial, not to gag them so they can't exercise their constitutional rights under the First, Sixth, and 14th Amendments to speak out about the judge, the prosecutor, the witnesses, their staffs, their biases, the process, especially when that prosecutor and that judge are so clearly partisan and they've politicized and weaponized the justice system against a criminal defendant who happens to be the leading presidential candidate.”
"You will not hear any of this on CNN because they are the problem,” Davis added. “They are part of the Democrats’ lawfare and election interference against President Trump because these Democrat judges, these Democrat prosecutors, these Democrat witnesses, these Democrat hellholes like New York, DC, and Atlanta, these Democrat regime spokespeople like at CNN, they fear American voters on November 5, 2024. They know American voters are going to put President Trump back in the White House. You're even seeing President Trump going up to Harlem, to a bodega in Harlem, and getting a hero's welcome. If that doesn't send chills down the spine of every Democrat in this country. They're not paying attention."
Merchan expanded a gag order placed on Trump in early April after Trump began speaking out against Merchan’s daughter, who was found to have had a photo of Trump behind bars as her X profile photo.
"So, let me get this straight," Trump wrote in late March, "the Judge's daughter is allowed to post pictures of her 'dream' of putting me in jail, the Manhattan DA is able to say whatever lies about me he wants, the Judge can violate our Laws and Constitution at every turn, but I am not allowed to talk about the attacks against me, and the Lunatics trying to destroy my life, and prevent me from winning the 2024 Presidential Election, which I am dominating?"
"Maybe," he suggested, "the Judge is such a hater because his daughter makes money by working to 'Get Trump,' and when he rules against me over and over again, he is making her company, and her, richer and richer. How can this be allowed?"
Loren Merchan is the head of a Chicago consulting firm and was paid around $4 million to help spread the word of Rep Adam Schiff’s effort in 2019 to impeach Trump.
The daughter’s ties to prominent anti-Trump and Democrat officials were the basis of Trump’s team asking Judge Merchan to recuse himself from the case, stating in May 2023, "Your Honor’s daughter’s close connection to President Trump’s political adversaries and her work at, and financial interest in, a firm which is deeply engrained with Democratic politics raises real and legitimate concerns about this Court’s impartiality.”
“The financial well-being of Your Honor’s daughter depends at least in part on the success of Authentic. And Authentic’s business model is one that requires it to attack President Trump and support individuals and causes in direct competition with President Trump."
