Rumors about the pair’s relationship first began circulating in July, when they were spotted having dinner together in Montreal.
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are confirmed to be dating, per the Daily Mail, as new photos showing the pair kissing aboard Perry’s yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, were revealed.
The outlet published images of the singer in a one-piece swimsuit kissing the former Canadian prime minister on the deck of her yacht. Another photo showed Trudeau embracing Perry.
The photos were reportedly taken late last month by a passenger on a passing tourist boat. The witness told the outlet, “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn't realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy's arm and I immediately realised it was Justin Trudeau.” Trudeau has tattooed on his shoulder a Haida raven, a tribute to an indigenous group of people in Canada.
Rumors about the pair’s relationship first began circulating in July, when they were spotted having dinner together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal. Days later, Trudeau was spotted attending one of Perry’s concerts in the city. At the time, both declined to comment on the speculation surrounding their relationship.
Trudeau separated from his wife in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The two share three children: two sons, ages 18 and 11, and a 16-year-old daughter. Perry has a five-year-old daughter with actor Orlando Bloom and was previously married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
A source also told the Daily Mail, “Katy is very, very interested in him. She says he's a real catch, a high-quality guy. She clearly likes him a lot. He likes her a lot.”
