Kristi Noem tells Trump to put travel ban on 'every damn country' that's been 'flooding' US with criminals, 'entitlement junkies'

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Monday called for President Trump to institute a "full travel ban" on "every damn country" that has been "flooding" the United States with criminals and "entitlement junkies." This comes after two National Guard members were shot by an Afghan national in Washington, DC the day before Thanksgiving. The suspect had come to the United States under the Biden administration under Operation Allies Welcome. 

"I just met with the President. I am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that's been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies," Noem wrote. "Our forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom—not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to AMERICANS. WE DON'T WANT THEM. NOT ONE."

The topic of immigration has received renewed attention after 29-year-old Rahmandullah Lakanwal was arrested on Wednesday and charged with shooting two National Guard members, one fatally. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, died from her injuries on Thursday, while 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe has made progress in his recovery. 

In the wake of the shooting, President Trump announced, "I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden’s Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization."

He said his aim was to achieve "major reduction in illegal and disruptive populations, including those admitted through an unauthorized and illegal Autopen approval process. Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation."
