A letter supposedly signed by over 17,000 "doctors" opposing the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that was posted online by the "Committee to Protect Health Care" and has been widely cited by mainstream media news outlets has been reported to accept fake names.

According to a report from Breitbart, the letter that said the doctors were "appalled by Donald Trump’s reckless decision" to choose RFK Jr. has no verification process to sign on, and the outlet reported that it was able to sign the letter "as Dr. Donald Duck, OG, of Disney World, FL, specializing in podiatry."

Health and fitness influencer Jillian Michaels as well as Alex Jones have both also said that no verification process is needed to sign the letter. Michaels posted a screen recording in which she signed the letter as "Dr. Bullsh*t."

Breitbart reports that the Committee to Protect Health Care does not have to reveal its donors, as it is classified as a 501(c)4 organization, but a related organization, The Committee to Protect Health Care Fund, is a 501(c)3 and as to reveal those that donate. Some of those donors are reported to be the “left-of-center Sixteen Thirty Fund (1630 Fund) and Hopewell Fund.”

The Hopewell fund has “hired Arabella Advisors, a leading national philanthropy services firm, to manage its project hosting and fiscal sponsorship services.” Among those that back Arabella Advisors include Bill Gates, George Soros, as well as Mark Zuckerberg, according to the report.

The hearing for RFK's nomination is set to take place on Thursday as Senators on the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions will ask him questions regarding his different positions and intentions in the role.
