A Toronto man is facing multiple sexual assault charges, including incidents against children, Toronto police say.

Prassana Mondal, 24, allegedly sexually assaulted a number of people over the last month, in the Front Street West and York Street area.

Less than two weeks later, police said that they were alerted of an incident in the Toronto Island Ferry Terminal, after reports that a man was allegedly approaching strangers on a bicycle. Mondal would then allegedly sexually assault the stranger.

Mondal was arrested and charged with sexual assault, appearing in court via video call on October 13. He would then be released.

One day later, police received reports of an incident at the Algonquin Island daycare centre. Police were told that a man was outside the facility, sexually assaulting a "number of children."

Police believe that there may be more victims. Mondal listed his services as a nanny on Canadiannanny.ca.
