Toronto man arrested following subway hammer attack that injured four

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a hammer attack that took place at the Bloor-Young subway station in Toronto.

A suspect has been arrested in connection to a hammer attack that took place at the Bloor-Young subway station in Toronto, CP24 reports.

Police responded to a call around 9 pm on Saturday from the subway station alleging a man on a subway train attacked four people with a hammer.

Police say all four victims were injured, but injuries are not life-threatening. Police have since found a suspect in connection to the incident.

A 49-year-old Toronto resident if facing multiple charges including dangerous weapons, two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of failing to comply with probation.

Police is asking people with more information i=to contact them at 416-808-5300 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
