Portland, Oregon is one of the many cities seeing riots grow out of protests responding to the death of George Floyd who died in Minneapolis police custody.

A video from the riots in Portland shows a man in a wheelchair being beaten on the sidewalk. One young man can be seen pulling his chair, causing him to fall out of it while another proceeds to punch him.

A fight then breaks out between several people as sirens can be heard in the background.

In another act of violence that took place in Las Vegas, a police officer was shot in the head and is now on life support.

In Philadelphia, a man was killed by the owner of a gun shop after he attempted to break into it on Tuesday morning.

Protests against racism and police brutality started peacefully in the US but quickly became violent. The National Guard has now been deployed in 23 states as a result.
