A mass shooting in northern Baltimore on Saturday night left five people wounded, including a 5-year-old girl, and one man dead from his injuries.

The incident occurred around 8:45 pm when police responded to reports of gunfire. Officers found four male and two female victims, including the young girl who had been shot in the hand. Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said in a press briefing that her injury did not appear to be serious.

“Thankfully, it doesn’t appear that her injury is very serious,” Worley said of the five-year-old.

The other victims, a 23-year-old woman and three men ages 32, 33, and 52, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. However, a 38-year-old man was critically injured, transferred to a hospital, and underwent surgery, but later died, according to a report by ABC News.

Worley said it appeared that the group of people were gathered outside in a residential area when a suspect began shooting. They were sitting on the porch and standing up against a car, eating, when the suspect opened fire.

“It just looked like some people were sitting outside on the porch and, up against a vehicle, having some crabs,” he said. “And looked like somebody just opened fire.”

Homicide detectives are investigating, but no suspects have been identified. The motive for the shooting remains unclear. Police are asking any individuals with more information to contact them directly.

"We have very little information at this point," Worley said. "All we know is there's multiple rounds fired, multiple victims."

Another Leftist cesspool of a city, where criminals are rarely held accountable, and legal citizens have no value at all. D.C. adjacent and just as crime-ridden. Avoid like the plague.
