Before the fundraising, the agitators marched through downtown Seattle calling for an end to the Jewish state.
The pro-Palestine agitators gathered outside the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle to "show that Seattle stands with the people of Palestine."
One of the groups involved was the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, the Seattle branch of a radical organization that advocates for terrorists to be released from jail and has ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine which is designated a terrorist organization by the US government.
As Pelosi spoke at the event, four activists who had snuck into the room began standing up one by one and shouting anti-Israel slogans at the former speaker. After one was escorted out by security, another would get up to shout at Pelosi.
Earlier in the day, the activists marched through downtown Seattle calling for an end to the Jewish state, the end of US aid to Israel, the lifting of the blockade on Gaza and a “ceasefire,” seemingly unaware that earlier this week Hamas had rejected an Israeli offer of a 2-month ceasefire and a hostage-for-terrorists prisoner exchange.
The Palestinian Youth Movement posted on Instagram, “Twenty-four hours ago, we put up a post on social media declaring Thursday, Jan 25th a regional strike day in Seattle and asked our community to call out of work and show up in the streets.”
“Hundreds showed up to unite and fight for the liberation of Palestine, for the end to the zionist occupation, and to demand an immediate ceasefire NOW‼️”
“Our community rallied outside of Westin Hotel demanding that the Democratic Party and Pelosi end their complicity in the genocide against the Palestinian people. We learned that four brave individuals attending the fundraiser disrupted Pelosi’s speech, letting her know that she has Palestinian blood on her hands.”
A spokesperson confirmed to KOMO News that Gov. Jay Inslee was also in attendance at the event.
