NBC News called the "Let's Go Brandon" phrase "a right-wing slur" after a father prank called President Joe Biden on Christmas Eve with the anti-Biden slogan.
"President Joe Biden was subjected to a right-wing anti-Biden slur during a Christmas Eve call with NORAD’s Santa tracker," reads NBC News report.
The mantra originates back to the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama when the NASCAR race's winner Brandon Brown was being interviewed by an NBC reporter who misreported what the crowd was chanting in the background.
The reporter claimed the audience was shouting "Let's Go Brandon" instead of "F*ck Joe Biden," the vulgar alternative to the popularized meme.
"Let's Go Brandon" has become a sensational euphemism for criticizing Biden, who didn't get the memo Friday evening when he said "I agree" over the phone.
NBC News claimed the jesting parent used "a right-wing slur" during the holiday phone call, to which Biden "did not appear to recognize" as a jab.
