Netflix has come under fire after a recent episode of its most popular children's show "CoComelon Lane" featured a young boy dressing up as a girl and dancing for his two gay dads.

CoComelon Lane, which is produced by Moonbug Entertainment, is the most popular show on the streaming service for babies and toddlers ages two and up, and the episode has resulted in individuals across social media calling for a boycott of the company.

The episode in question features a young boy dancing around the room in a dress for the approval of his two homosexual fathers, who tell him to "just be you!"

"How about you break out those moves for your two biggest fans," the two dads sing to the kid. "If you're not sure what to choose, think about all the things you like to do. Just be you!"

"Just be me!" the son replies as he goes through a heaping pile of clothes before choosing feminine attire. The show is intended for viewers from ages 3 to 5 years old. The clip comes from episode 8.

After a scene of the episode made its way to X outrage among the conservative base soon followed.

"Netflix needs the full Bud Light treatment for this," said Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire. The Daily Wire has launched its own alternative children's network called Bentkey, featuring a steady stream of programming that does not encourage children to attempt to swap genders or engage in behaviors such as drag that promote adult sexual and fetishistic lifestyles.

"Netflix's most popular kids program has toddler dressing in drag in its latest episode," another user said

Katy Faust, the founder of Them Before Us, which is a nonprofit that aims to put the rights of children over the desires of adults, was displeased by the episode.

"Laws can deem moms & dads optional, culture can message that kids love being motherless, tech can cut out one/both bio parents at conception. But we will never legislate-away, tech-away or sing-away a child's longing to be loved by both mom and dad. Kids are stubborn like that," Faust wrote on X.

TPM's editor-in-chief Libby Emmons also weighed in and said: "There's only one reason to encourage your boy child to wear girls' clothes, and it's not to encourage self-expression."

Netflix introduced a wide selection of preschool shows this year, including "CoComelon Lane," which debuted on November 17.

With new storylines and tunes, "CoComelon Lane" isthe first dialogue-driven installment in the CoComelon franchise. The objective of the program is to delve into real-life experiences and events by means of its characters.
