Just hours after being booked into Fulton County jail in relation to his latest indictment, 2024 GOP frontrunner and former President Donald Trump reposted a social media post in which the mugshot of the former president taken that day is surrounded by 19 guns, each noting an apparent enemy.

Surrounding his mugshot were guns pointed at his head, some of which were labeled "FBI," four instances of the word "indictment," "DOJ," "deep state," "Antifa," and the "swamp."

The image was also labeled with "never surrender," referencing Trump’s first post on X, formerly known as Twitter, in over two years.

On Thursday evening, Trump turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail in Georgia, where he was arrested, fingerprinted, and photographed. He remained in jail for only around 20 minutes, and his bond was set at $200,000.

Speaking from the tarmac in Georgia before departing to New Jersey, Trump said, "This should never happen. If you challenge an election you should be able to challenge an election. I thought the election was a rigged election, a stolen election. And I should have every right to do that."

"As you know you, have many people that you've been watching over the years do the same thing whether it's Hillary Clinton or Stacey Abrams or many others. When you have that great freedom to challenge you have to be able to, otherwise you can have very dishonest elections."

"What has taken place here is a travesty of justice," declared Trump. "We did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong and everybody knows it. I've never had such support and that goes for the other ones too. What they're doing is election interference or trying to interfere with an election. There's never been anything like in our country before."
